What kind of product do you sell and what can I expect when I receive my order?
We sell only the furniture frame itself. It is the bare wooden frame ready to be upholstered. We do not do any upholstery work here.
What kind of wood is used to build the frames?
The majority of our frames are built using both hard and soft whad grade 5/4 kiln dried Maple surfaced to 1-1/8". Maple is a widely used hardwood for the framing industry and provides ample strength and durability.
What kind of construction is used to build the frames?
In addition to using kiln dried hardwood lumber, we use double dowel construction for all of our joints and our corner blocks are screwed in to the frame, not just stapled.
All of our frames are built for coil spring construction with both hard edge and spring edge styles.
Do you build custom furniture frames and how do I go about ordering a custom frame?
Yes. The majority of our business is building custom frames. Just simply send us a sketch, drawing or picture and we'll do the rest. We can even modify and change most of our frame styles to fit your desired needs.
Do you do any upholstery work?
No. We sell only to the trade and we do not do any upholstery work.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Catalog orders are usually in stock and should ship within 48 hours.
Custom orders depend on the current schedule and back log. However, we usually can ship custom orders within 2-4 weeks.
How do you ship?
All KD (knocked down), orders and small assembled orders ship via u.p.s. All assembled orders too large to ship u.p.s will ship via common carrier. We work with some very good trucking companies and we can estimate shipping charges at you request.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept orders by phone, fax, mail, e-mail and on our web site. Major credit cards and debit cards are accepted (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).
We can also ship your order c.o.d if you prefer. A $9.50 fee applies to all c.o.d orders and satisfactory trade references may be required to process checks.
